There is no luck involved in the success story behind Lucki's Exercise Equipment. The Edmonton based company has been in operation since 1985 and continues to build on its strong client base by offering outstanding service and value ---- all the time. Providing services that are wide ranging, Lucki's Exercise Equipment is really in the business of keeping its customers fit for the long term.
We sell household and commercial exercise equipment and accessories, and we service most makes and models as well. But that is only the tip of the iceberg. We sell and install rubber flooring for fitness centers, ice arenas and any other useful applications.
Ken Lucki, owner and operator, graduated with a Bachelor of Physical Education degree from the U of A in 1980. Ken has been involved in the fitness field since 1985 when it originally started by Bruce Balazs the then owner of Easty's Exercise Equipment Services. Ken purchased the company in 1990 and that's how it became Lucki's Exercise Equipment Ltd.
What started out as a service business working out of a garage with a service van has evolved into a complete sales and service business, operating out of a 5,200 sq. ft. warehouse. Up until a couple of years ago, Lucki's Exercise Equipment Ltd. only catered to the commercial market.
We have expanded our showroom to allow us to sell several quality lines of household equipment as well. Given our history and our expertise, we can meet the needs of consumers interested in fitness and health.
The Lucki family has been involved with small business in Edmonton since the 1950's and Ken's father, Nicholas, always stressed the importance of customer satisfaction and believed in providing good products at a fair price with good after-sales service. Then, he taught that once you become successful, you make sure that you give something back to the community that has served you. At Lucki's Exercise Equipment Ltd. we continue that tradition.
Not only does the company donate to many worthwhile causes within the City, but they also provide prizes for school tournaments, community fundraisers and silent auctions. Lucki's has donated equipment to many worthwhile programs that promote fitness for our youth and for those less fortunate. We also sponsor minor sports teams. It is our way of saying thanks to all our valued customers.
